You can browse by geography, classification (painting, photography, etc), or collection. Browsing is available from the welcome page or from the navigation menu at the top of the page via Find > Browse ARTstor by.

♦ Basic Search: Enter a phrase into the keyword search box on the welcome page. Findings will result from all collections.
♦ Advanced Search: Limit results by keywords, dates, geography, and collections. The advanced search option can be found on the welcome page or from the navigation menu at the top of the page. Choose File > Advanced search.
ARTstor provides very robust subject guides which allow you to browse a wide range of disciplines. Each Subject Guide provides information about featured collections matching that subject and suggestions for searching.
