The Centro is a research center dedicated to the study and interpretation of the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. We are committed to making this research available and useful to those in community organizations, public policy, academia and the public at large.

Founded in 2001, the Pew Hispanic Center is a nonpartisan research organization that seeks to improve understanding of the U.S. Hispanic population and to chronicle Latinos' growing impact on the nation. The Center does not take positions on policy issues.

The PPIC mission is to inform and improve public policy in California through independent, objective, nonpartisan research on major social, economic, and political issues. PPIC publishes excellent research on immigration.

The Urban Insititute is an independent nonpartisan organization that provides analysis of the problems facing America's cities and their residents.

the Dominican Studies Institute of the City University of New York (CUNY DSI) is the nation's first, university-based research institute devoted to the study of people of Dominican descent in the United States and other parts of the world. CUNY DSI's mission is to produce and disseminate research and scholarship about Dominicans, and about the Dominican Republic.
