Eat What Bugs You - Causal Argumentation

Entomophagy has been regarded largely as taboo in the Western, developed countries. Specifically, culture plays a larger role in entomophagy and in the Western society; insects are not widely recognized as food. Researchers have suggested food neophobia, food technology neophobia, unfamiliarity with insects as food, and / or high levels of “disgust” or “gross factor” as leading reasons why Westerners are still hesitant about the practice of entomophagy.
