Library resources for engineering faculty: Managing Citations

This guide was originally developed to support a joint presentation on ORSP and Library Resources

New faculty

If you have been using Endnote at your previous institution, you will need to make a decision on how to handle your citations since we only have a license to RefWorks.

Follow one of these strategies:

  • Convert your Endnote citations into Refworks
  • Convert to the free Endnote Web provided via Web of Science (details below)
  • Purchase your individual copy of Endnote to install on your workstation; it is sold at the CSULB bookstore.

Endnote Web

CSULB does not subscribe to the full Endnote; however, we do have access to EndNote Web freely through Web of Science. It does not have the full functionality of the desktop version but may be sufficient for your purpose. Click EndNote in the top navigation bar of Web of Science to create an account.

Here is a comparison of the Endnote and Endnote Web  and their features to help you make a decision.
