Locate academic, peer-reviewed scientific research articles on a current issue that addresses or challenges key questions, concepts, or ideas in the field.

Scientific research Articles report empirical research studies and present the result of original research to make contributions to the body of knowledge (see Scientific Research Article tab)

Follow these steps:

1.  Explore Topic Ideas: First, find a topic that interests you! If you haven't selected a topic, here are a few options to finding one:

   • Check out current news articles in:

     • Scientific American

   • Check out the RSS and News Feeds below
2. Learn to Search:
   • Use the Find Articles tab in this guide to search databases effectively.
   • Develop your keyword search and learn how to search databases
   • Evaluate and improve your search results
3. Use the additional resources in this research guide to help you 
   • get the full-text of the articles you find  
   • Cite your sources using APA 7 guidelines
