This site will permit you to search the text of the Johns Hopkins Guide to Literary Criticism & Theory, but to get to the full-text of the entry, you will need to consult the print version in the Library's Reference Center. A resource for scholars and students of literary theory and discourse.
"The premier literary-intellectual magazine in the English language." Every two weeks, the New York Review of Books publishes essays and reviews of books and the arts, including music, theater, dance, and film. A searchable archive is available at New York Review of Books Archive .
Full-text index of the journal Studies in Bibliography, which contains scholarly articles of bibliography and literary criticism. Covers 1948 to present.
Provides the tables of contents of a selection of Classics, Near Eastern Studies, and Religion journals, both in text format and through a Web search program. Where possible, links are given with articles of which the full text or an abstract is available online (about 15%). (CSULB students staff and faculty should use OneSearch to determine if the library has access to any articles not free online.)
