Dr. P.'s Postulations

Hello Everyone! I'm Alexis Pavenick, PhD, MLIS. I am a Senior Assistant Librarian for CSULB, and I currently cover Literatures and Languages.

This guide holds videos and other materials that explore and discuss my thoughts, ideas, and research in a range of topics related to storytelling, cultural studies, and technology.

I call this guide Dr. P.'s Postulations because I am essentially thinking out loud here, and it will take larger discussions with many people to come to any conclusions. I use the word "Postulation" to refer to the act of putting forward a hypothesis, theory, or idea that is not necessarily based on concrete evidence. It often involves making assumptions and speculating about a particular situation or phenomenon. That's what I'm exploring here.
