The semester project (in teams) will compare two engineering structures – one in the US and the other abroad that solve a similar engineering problem. Your team will research the two structures in terms of design and construction solutions highlighting the impact of local, environmental, cultural and societal issues.
This research guide is designed to provide access to resources via the library to address each of these issues.
Refer to the syllabus for your section for more specific details in terms of how many minimum references/citations you need to have for each project. You are not limited to peer-reviewed articles, you may have books, encyclopedia entries, newspaper articles, magazines. Try to find as many references as you can via the library’s resources first. Instructors generally allow you to have one or two Internet sites.
