Develop a Search Strategy Before You Begin
1. Identify your topic
2. Narrow your topic to specific key words and phrases. For Example:

Find periodical and journal articles
Find everything the CSULB library owns and all material types such as books, eBooks, media, articles, etc... Narrow your search by using the Advanced Search option and selecting the scope of your search in the top tool bar.
Find subject specific journals by entering main subject terms that describe your research topic
Find research on your topic using Google or Google Scholar. Evaluate the credibility of websites using the following criteria
