Welcome to California State University – Long Beach! We hope that the University Library will be a comfortable place for you to do research and relax.  You will find friendly librarians and staff ready and happy to assist you to ensure your academic success.

Your student ID is your library card for checking out physical items and all you need is your CSULB ID and password to access our online resources on campus or remotely from anywhere in the world! Look for the University Library chicklet on Single-Sign On (SSO).

Here are a few ideas to get you started on using the library:

• Find and check out books and media - using OneSearch (our catalog)
• Chat or email a librarian for help 
• Ask a librarian for help with your research - each college/department has a librarian
• Access over 300 databases of electronic journals, magazines, e-books on computers in the library, or your own device or remotely
• Borrow materials from other libraries
• Copy, print or scan materials (bring a USB drive) for personal or academic use
• Great place to meet with your team mates to work on a project
• Meet your friends for a cup of coffee at the Caffeine Lab
