The collection is in room 204, in the NE corner. The books are organized by subject, and each set includes books for multiple grades, usually denoted on the spine as part of the call number. In many cases student and teacher editions are available.

The state of California Department of Education publishes a list of books approved for use in K-12 classrooms in California. Each individual school district also goes through a process of adopting and purchasing textbooks that fit their needs. In many cases you can find the list of adopted textbooks on the school district's website. We strive to include the textbooks adopted by LBUSD primarily, and then other nearby districts as funds allow.
